Dave is an animation director who specializes in animation design. He has worked professionally in the fields of design, animation, and illustration. Clients have included: Hasbro Toys, Parker Brothers, Soup 2 Nuts Animation Studio, Johnny Cupcakes, Hands on Toys, WGBH, National Fire Prevention Association...as well as Pileated Pictures. He recently won the Grand Prize for Current TV's "60 Seconds to Save the Earth" PSA Contest.

Mr. Schlafman finds a fine balance between humor, innocence, psychology, and desire in his cartoons. He loves to create fantastic characters and imaginary worlds where audiences can lose themselves. It is his dream to develop animated television shows, as well as write and illustrate children's books.

Dave lives in Boston and enjoys doodling, working out, extra hot soy chai, and watching American Idol. Dave vows to never write a bio in the third person again.
